FREQUENCY TRANSLATION PLL
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The M2004-12 is a VCSO (Voltage Controlled SAW Oscillator) based clock generator PLL designed for reference clock frequency translation and jitter attenuation in a high-speed data communications system. The device is functionally identical to the M2004-02 except that it includes protection switch circuitry to meet phase build-out requirements upon input reference reconfiguration.
