Description

AK-NORD’s XT-FEMTO-SXL is a very small, embedded LAN network module which can be easily integrated into any terminal. The module, with the dimensions 27 mm x 27 mm x 3 mm, can be built-in as an SMD or as a THT component. A total of two bus systems with five switchable interfaces, such as RS232, RS485, I2C, and SPI, as well as TTL-IO are available. With only a few additional components, such as a RJ45 jack with an integrated transducer and a 3.3 V power supply, a terminal will be immediately network-compatible and can be accessed worldwide.

Features, Applications

The EVA-KIT-SXL for the XT-PICO-SXL, XT-NANO-SXL and XT-FEMTO-SXL offers all functions as well as hardware options in order to completely try out the AK-NORD Embedded-LAN-Modules. One RS232- and one RS485 interfaces as well as an SPI display and an SD card holder are available. Also a POE (PowerOverEthernet) module is included in the EVA-KIT-SXL. One additional WIRE-WRAP field of the contact spacing 2mm allow using or connecting your proper hardware. Using the prepared cables, it is possible to individually separate or connect each bus of the Embedded-Ethernet-Module. One Embedded-LAN-Module, e.g. XT-PICO-SXL, XT-NANO-SXL or XT-FEMTO-SXL, and the connection plan are also included in the functional scope.
