CUI Inc. P78 DC Switching Regulators are designed to offer a high performance alternative to linear regulators. Designed as a drop-in replacement for linear LM78XX and LM79XX regulators, CUI's family of DC regulators utilize switching technology. The regulators are highly compact, highly efficient and do not require a heat sink. These features make the P78 series ideal when board space is at a premium and energy efficiency is a concern. They are available in a 500mA or 1A output current, in an a ultra-compact SIP3 package.
