    OLD SAYBROOK, Conn., March 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Comcast Business today announced that Saybrook Point Inn, a luxury Connecticut inn featuring elegant accommodations, fine dining and premier spa services, is using Comcast Business Ethernet, Internet, Phone and Video offerings to provide guests with high-quality technology services as well as improve inn operations.

The result is an exceptionally easy-to-use environment for integrated circuit (IC) design, simulation and layout with reliable, industry-standard physical verification for one of the industry's most advanced silicon photonics platform's available today.

    The PDK supports the Tanner IC design suite along with Tanner Calibre(R) One for physical verification. Luceda's IPKISS.eda is integrated within Tanner's L-Edit full-custom layout tool providing drag-and-drop photonic components and fine-grained control over every aspect of the design flow. The imec process is suited to devices such as high-performance optical transceivers, optical sensing and read-out ICS and biomolecule detection.

    Electrolux Presents Progress for the Better in 2016 Sustainability Report

    As part of the agreement, Veritas has certified the IBM Cloud Object Storage family of software and cloud services for use with Veritas NetBackup 8.0. As a result, both Veritas and IBM clients can gain a more efficient way to migrate data from on-premises systems to the cloud for greater storage capabilities and efficient management of their growing unstructured data. Based on IBM's acquisition of Cleversafe in 2015, IBM Cloud Object Storage brings advanced object storage technology to the cloud.

    In addition, IBM has also certified NetBackup 8.0 to run on the IBM Cloud to offer clients additional data protection for cloud-based workloads.     DES PLAINES, Ill., March 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Honeywell today announced that Wantong Petrochemical Group is producing ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel using Honeywell UOP's new high-activity HYT-6219 hydrotreating catalyst.

    The catalyst, which is part of Honeywell UOP's Unity(TM) hydrotreating portfolio, enables Wantong Petrochemical to produce cleaner burning ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel without a costly modification of its existing hydrotreating unit in Donyging in China's Shandong Province. Hydrotreating is a method of removing sulfur from fuels in the refining process, using proprietary catalysts.

    "This Unity hydrotreating catalyst will help Wantong and many other refiners meet new global standards for ultra-low sulfur transportation fuels such as gasoline and diesel, without a costly revamp of its equipment," said Ken Stacherski, vice president and general manager of Honeywell UOP's Catalysts, Adsorbents and Specialties business.     Today's announcement marks the first commercialization of a Honeywell UOP hydrotreating catalyst in distillate hydrotreating service since it exited an alliance with Albemarle last year, and follows launches of other hydrotreating catalysts for naphtha, hydrocracking pretreat and fluid catalytic cracking pretreat. The HYT-6219 hydrotreating catalyst is capable of achieving more stringent sulfur regulations of less than 10 parts per million without requiring a costly revamp of the refinery's existing hydrotreating unit.

    Additionally, it allows refiners to take advantage of heavier "opportunity" crudes - oil that is cheaper and more widely available, but which is harder to process -- along with cost-effective systems that meet tighter environmental regulations on fuel quality.

    IBM Accelerates Data Optimization with New Watson Discovery CapabilitiesWatson Discovery Service gets expanded beta functionality and will power a new, experimental platform solution called Watson Company Profiler

    IBM Enriches Watson Discovery Service with New Beta Functionality
    In April, IBM will roll out new beta functionality in the Watson Discovery Service. The functionality will enable relevancy training and passage retrieval capabilities to find better answers, adding to the service's existing ability to identify useful patterns and insights in large datasets.
